CAD Watch shows incident information published by the City of Houston on its public Active Incidents webpage and by Houston TranStar on its public webpages. CAD Watch is not part of, and is not endorsed by, the City of Houston or Houston TranStar. We republish what those public sources post — we do not create the calls.
Service can be interrupted
If the City of Houston’s or Houston TranStar’s websites or servers are down, delayed, or changed, CAD Watch alerts may be delayed, incomplete, or stop until they are back. Information can also contain errors, or a call may already be cleared by the time you see it.
Your responsibility
CAD Watch is a tool to help you decide where to go. It does not guarantee a call is still active, or that responding is safe or permitted. Always drive safely, follow the law and your company’s rules, and verify on scene.

In-app sound
Plays on this device when a new call lands in your buzz area while CAD Watch is open. Tapping a sound picks it and plays it. Push alerts with the app closed use Apple’s built-in tone — iOS doesn’t let a web app change that one.
Set it up once:
1. In Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
2. Open CAD Watch from your Home Screen.
3. Tap Turn on alerts and tap Allow.
Repeat on each device you want buzzed. Switches save on the server, so the watcher only sends what you picked.
